where is a detailed list of permissions?

trying to open this in the admin

Unable to create or fix permissions for the file: /home/xxxxx/public_html/photopost/header.htm

Correct the permissions or set the file path in the Admin Global Options.
same for the footer and headtags?

i never saw a place to give these files permission

well you have not set the path in global options to where the file exists on your server and or not set permisisions to 666. Has to be one of those two.

The header footer editor is new for Photopost 5 so Michael might have not not included a note to make sure its writable but just like the templates and stylesheets

However yes it should be 666 so you can write to it
