Question Uploaded pictures renamed to path+name

I recently moved to a new host and just realised when using the upload function (uploadphoto.php) the picture uploaded is rename to the path its in locally.
Link to the uploaded picture with "path" problem (right click on the picture and choose properties and youll see the name of the picture) The pictures are uploaded but they are renamed to the path

The bulkuploader seems to work and does not rename the files.

Im using PhotoPost PHP 4.0.1 and heres my phpinfo

I hope someone will be able to help me Ive been using PhotoPost for a long time and this is the first time Im having problems

Yes it is kinda old but it worked fine before I moved so what could be the cause of the problem, new server inviroment or something gone wrong in the database?

Well your phpinfo states you cant run Photopost

Whenever anyone has such an old version I always suggest to upgrade just for security issues if anything else

Your server has safe mode on and your users will not be able to upload with it on

If you moved servers I would make sure to set file and directory permissions as per a new install and lets work from there

Yeah I had problems with uploading when I just moved so I used http://www.photopost.com/installphp.html to set up chmod

Quote:
photopost
images (chmod 755)
uploads (chmod 777)
help (chmod 755)
data (chmod 777)
1 (chmod 777)
2 (chmod 777)
500 (chmod 777)
languages (chmod 755) (all subdirectories, too)
english (chmod 755)
And the files went up but they just have that "path" name
Heres a screenshot of the files on my FTP

So noone has any idea what could be wrong?

I could try a new install on another domain on the same server and see if the problem is still there but I only have 1 license and I dont want to get into trouble.

Your php still shows to me your running with safe mode on which we already state in our requirements Photopost will not work with it on.

Your issue would be related to your server and your host how they have things configured. They most likely are on an image upload setting the filename to the full image path

If your host is requiring some type of special upload process or function most likely any files on your server would need to be modified to suit your servers requirements

You may need to contact your host about this

What version of PHP are you using? Are you using the buggy -dev version which isn't a stable production release?
