| Admin Login Problems
Ok I was reading a post about a person who installed PP and couldn't log into the admin area.
I read it up and changed my PP settings, the prefix to 'bb' which is the prefix for my database, and I made the changes in all of the SQL tables to bbtablenamehere. Logged out of my forums, cleared cookies, logged back in, and no success. I do not see an admin login area on my PP page.
I don't even know what the login to admin link is either lol. I checked the usergroup settings on my forums and there is no setting in there for the photopost thing.
I have no problem being logged into the forums and being able to see that in photopost I'm logged in, but I do not see an admin link. I even went to the adm-index.php page to log in, said Admin area thing, so I though meh good enough. I log into it and I'm brought back to my PP and I see I'm logged out of my forums lol.
Any help?

Okay
Couple things to check.
If you use vb3 integration you will be logged in as we use the vb3 cookies however if you cant login to admin it is because your cookies are not right thus you would need to check the settings table settings 181-183 and make sure they are set accordingly
If your not logged in at all using vb3 integration then I would suspect you have them installed on different domains.
as in one on www.domain.com and one on domain.com
Some things to consider
If you have any problems you can post your urls here and I can tell you what the issue is.

Well it's not that I set it up on the wrong domain because I'm logged into the gallery. What is the admin link by the way? And with the setting table, what do I do with it? And is there supposed to be anything in the admincp of the forums to do with PP?

Have you checked your cookies?
Did you set your forum cookie prefix to bb?
If your logged in as forum admin there should be an admin link on the gallery menubar
You can PM me a link and login and I can tell you whats wrong.

What about my cookies? I deleted all of them... and yes I set up all the prefix's and it just doesn't work. I will message you with my information. This is getting rediculous... and like I was going to pay $50.00+ more for installation. What problems do I face next? Uploading problems? I think I waisted 130.00... maybe I shouldn't have waisted 200.00 on some online php scripts. Lets see what we can do.

Okay so your cookies are fine that I see
Verify your photopost usergroups table has an insert for administrators with a groupid of 6 and cpaccess set to 1

Sorry tis the weekend and we are here and there
Yes you would do what I stated above in sql
Still dont know why your admin is not recognized unless your admin is a custom admin usergroup other than 6

well if you want me you PM me a link to it and I will take a quick peek
I dont know how to say it any other way that I did above
1. View the photopost usergroups table
2. Make sure there is an entry called administrators that has a groupid value of 1 and and cpaccess set to 1
Is that any clearer? I know sometimes people who dont know sql stuff can get lost here. Lord knows I did when I first started
