I have no clue as to what I am doing

I know i needed to have this program to better my site. Now I have it and have no clue what to do. I have no experience in this what so ever. I don't want to pay for it to be installed if I can't help it.
I uploaded everything to my server...now what?

Run the install.php in the main folder of pp, and make sure you have the database and all that set up prior.
