You need to find the path on your server to jhead. If you do not have it installed you can not extract exif info from photos

I installed the jhead file on my server, fix the path on admin and run the "Check here to rescan photos and save EXIF information."
still not seing any info. Actualy, I don't know were to look for it on the page.
Can you help just a little more?
And since we are here:
I'm using GD2 to process my pictures. What exactly 'jpegtran' do and where can I find it?
Thank you

jpegtran stripes the header info which causes the IE abode bug

type which jpegrtran when at an SSH prompt on your server to find it

If you installed jhead and it is not working and the path is right then it is a problem with your installation of jhead not working

Here is a path to a photo showing exif

Try finding the source and compiling jhead on the server instead of using compiled binaries if thats what you did.

Just a little bit of more info:
when I run the "Check here to rescan photos and save EXIF" the report who shows when program runs shows about 15 photos and all had "Checking photo #119: - checking for exif (none) done."
But my PP has about 100 photos, so I'm assuming that those few 15 doens't have the EXIF enbeded on it, but all other 85 photos have it. I'm right?

I would not assume that.

You can not be sure jhead is working or not until you upload an image with exif info

I can confirm though your jhead does not work

Did you use a binary or did you compile it? I would if I were you compile it

This is my problem. I do not have Terminal access to my server. I had to use Linux 9 Binary pre-compiled...
Maybe this is the issue...
There is any work around you are were off?

None that I am aware of. I dont know how they compiled these etc. You cant really guarantee a binary would work.

Thats why I always compile from source.
