Upgrade stops on step 3 and page is blank.

I have followed the instruction for the install setp by step, I was running the install script for an upgrade from 4.5.x, when it get's to the first step I get a lot of errors:

Performing MySQL command: ALTER TABLE pp_categories ADD theme VARCHAR(32) NOT NULL; ... Error: Duplicate column name 'theme'
Performing MySQL command: ALTER TABLE pp_categories ADD catdepth varchar(6) DEFAULT NULL; ... Error: Duplicate column name 'catdepth'
Performing MySQL command: ALTER TABLE pp_categories ADD watermark varchar(255) NOT NULL default ''; ... Error: Duplicate column name 'watermark'
Performing MySQL command: ALTER TABLE pp_iponline ADD item VARCHAR(16) NOT NULL default ''; ... Error: Duplicate column name 'item'
Performing MySQL command: ALTER TABLE pp_usergroups ADD useralbums int(3) NOT NULL default '0'; ... Error: Duplicate column name 'useralbums'

And by step 3 it just goes blank and stops.

Any suggestions?

There is no step 3 in upgrade 45

I think your problem is when running the upgrade 467 part

edit the upgrade.php script and find this line

<a href=\"upgrade.php?upgrade=467.php&amp;step=1\">Proceed to Upgrade --></a></div></font></td></tr></table></td></tr></table>";

remove the .php after the 467 and then rerun the upgrade 467 script forward

Chuck, thanks that did the trick. I have the integration working fine but now the photos will not upload, I get this:

chmod the uploads and data directories as well as any subdirectories to 777

But...I thought this would be an easy upgrade, seems every step is followed by another problem.

I did the above and it gets to the the "Add Photos - Select Photos / Configure Properties" screen and I now get this:
