Managing licenses

Hi,

I want to spend some more money with you..

I have 3 licenses for Photopost and I have branding free on one of those. I'd now like to go branding free on another (the pages just look tidier without so much stuff at the bottom).

I can go to the license page for members and I see the details of the first license we bought from you. I expect if I logout I and back in again with different customer numbers I am meant to be able to see each license in turn. However, it doesn't seem to be working as intended.

Say I am looking at the normal license info I see - for the first license we bought, and I click on the link to "Edit License" as one item is out of date, it doesn't actually take me to the info on that license, it shows me info on the third one we bought from you.

I would guess that it is using cookies and that multiple licenses are not being allowed for somehow.

Also there are the instructions on the members page on how to handle multiple licenses, it says you must do this:

"if you have mutliple licenses and domain names, enter all domain names separated by commas. Click on "edit license" to enter or change the domain."

...if I do that I will be putting down domains against a license number that doesn't apply, as they all have their own. Also as I say, the edit button takes me to another license, our third one. Do you really want me to do as that screen instructs, and if so how?

I wanted to update the email on my first license, but I can't as edit license takes me to the screen for my third.

Anyway...my immediate problem is that I'd like to buy another branding free option and get it recorded against the correct license, how do I do that? I'm hoping that at some point when buying it I can say which license it should be applied to?

I'd suggest that each license page should have an option to buy branding free for that license, or showing that it has already been bought.

You can note in the comments when buying the branding free what license number this is for.

Thanks Omegatron, I'll do that.

I did it for vbulletin today and they seemed to have a REALLY neat system for it, and it handled our multiple licenses for vb with no bother...and each shows the branding free option is paid for against the licenses all on one page etc...it may be worth a look.
