I cant see admin console, or even upload buttons? I did a clean install of photopost 4.86 and even though i am logged in, i cant seem to access the admin console, also there is no option anywhere to upload pictures, any help would be appreciated! :) |
well a little info like url to install and what integration would help. Also are you on powweb? |
I have a similar problem. I upgraded to 4.86 and now can't seem to access the admin panel. It just keeps asking me to enter my username and password, says I have done so but when I click on the admin link it ask again for user name & password ?? The site is www.houstontexasswingers.com and I am using a VB3 integration. Currenly photopost is turned off (at least I think it is). Can you tell me what I did wrong in the upgrade ? Thanks Henry |
well whats your integration url's? does one have a www.domain.com and one have just domain.com If I go to the gallery from your forum the www drops off thus meaning its installed on a different domain but if you hit a link you are back to the www and logged in so you need to check your forums in the forum integration |
Both VB and PhotoPost are in the same domain and both use same database, though I could of messed it up when doing the upgrade and editing the config-int and config-inc files. Can you give me a clue as to where to look for my error? The only files I edited were the config-*** files so I guess it could be there. Henry |
what I am saying is try going from the forum and type photopost in the url It jumps you to your domain without the url. You have any redirects in effect? How are these filled out in your config-int.php? // We need the URL path to your PhotoPost and vb installation $url_path = "/photopost"; $vb_urlpath = "/forum"; |
I don't think I have any re-directs working after the splash page before you get to the forum. Here are the url's filled out in config-int: // We need to know the server paths to both your vB installation and your PhotoPost installation $vbpath = "/home/httpd/karicream/houstontexasswingers.com/html/vbulletin"; $pppath = "/home/httpd/karicream/houstontexasswingers.com/html/photopost"; // We need the URL path to your PhotoPost and vb installation $url_path = "www.houstontexasswingers.com/photopost"; $vb_urlpath = "www.houstontexasswingers.com/vbulletin"; |
Okay well place http:// before your url's and see what happens they need to be full url's |
done... still can't get to admin panel... I'm going to reload my backup and start again... perhaps tomorrow. Thanks for you help, I'll be back if I still have a problem or if I figure it out I'll post the solution. Henry |
well I do see your Vbulletin is running on a different url that Photopost VB on houstontexasswingers.com photopost on www.houstontexasswingers.com click some of the links of your forum and see what I mean thread links etc so in your vb config you have it set to run on houstontexasswingers.com not www.houstontexasswingers.com |
i came right and photopost is working beautifully now :) |
