No thumbs using GD

I've changed hosts and moved PhotoPost from a host that used mogrify to a new host that used GD. The only kink left to work out is no thumbnails. The full-size images are there when you click on the image title, but no thumbs will display. I have switched to gd in the globals. No error messages, just this inability to see thumbs. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can lend.

The thumbs were present at the old site, and I copied the database and uploaded it to the new site. However, I obviously don't know what I'm doing.
New submissions are not generating thumbs either. Do I need to do a re-install rather than just loading the present files and changing the configs? If this info is elsewhere on the site, please point me to it and I can read up on it. It would be great to have a step-by-step process for moving Photopost from one host to another.
Thanks!

You say you uploaded the database.

when transfering sites you need to do alot more.

1. Transfer all Photpost files plus the data directory which contains the images to the new server.

2. upload the database to the new server

3. set the config file to point to the new server path to the install and proper database info.

4. use a database editor to edit to the proper url or in the case of a domain transfer point to the new ip till the domain transfers

sounds to me like you uploaded just the database and main Photopost files and no data so thus no thumbnails show and then you click a thumbnail it is taking you to your old install

I did upload my data directory, I moved everything in my photopost directory on the old site to the new. The domain is transferred to the new site, the old hosting plan is completely gone at this point. I've changed the server path in the config files according to the new setup.

Photopost is working, just not generating thumbs for new posts or displaying thumbs for old posts. The thumbs are the only prob.

My new host actually uploaded the database for me, table by table. Where can I find exactly needs changing? I've looked at my tar in a MySQL editor, and the only place where I see site location info is above the tables, which I assume didn't matter since this was uploaded by each table. Or maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, I know next to nothing about MySQL.

You need to transfer your data as I stated and update all server paths etc so that you can see old pictures and upload new ones.

Taking care of transfering a database is only half the work
