Enable spider-friendly URLs

What do I need to do to get spider-friendly URLs working? On my test machine at home, the option works fine. It doesn't, however, work on the public web server. I'm not sure if it uses mod_rewrite and .htaccess to do it - if so, I can only imagine that there's a .htaccess file missing on the server, but it's on my local machine. I haven't been able to find a .htaccess in the local photopost install though. The only thread I found here linked to another thread that didn't exist. I'd really like to get this working, can anyone help out?

Thanks, Pat

Check your apache configuration and make sure this is in the httpd.conf file.

It may also work in an htaccess file if allowed

AllowPathInfo On

When I do that, I get the following error when restarting:

Invalid command 'AllowPathInfo', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration.

Also, there doesn't appear to be an AllowPathInfo command anywhere in my local machine's config.

Fixed.

It was AcceptPathInfo, not AllowPathInfo. Thanks for the help!
