4.85 clean install w/phpBB - integration probs

Brand new 4.85 Photopost install, integrated w/phpBB2, I get the following at the beginning of step5 of the install:

Error: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
Error: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
Error: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
Error: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
Error: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
Error: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1

I've deleted the pp_ database tables and reinstalled twice with same results. I've checked and re-checked all of the install settings, they're just a blur now.

If I ignore the errors, the install seems to complete successfully, but I notice a few oddities. I'm not sure if they're clues or other problems.

1) I can login successfully to photopost using my phpBB adminstrator account, but get redirected to index.php. I seem to have no administrative rights. If I go back to adm-index.php, I see "You are not a valid administrator or moderator!"

2) If I login from phpBB, then the photopost Logout link doesn't log me out. It takes me to logout page, but then I'm redirected back to the gallery, logged in again. Logging out from phpBB does log me out of the gallery as well. If I login from photopost, then the photopost logout link logs me out.

IOW:
phpBB login = I can only logout successfully from phpBB.
photopost login = I can successfully logout from either phpBB or photopost.

3) Admin email address does not get set properly (though this is easy to change after the install - - easy to change in the db, but easier to change in the admin settings, which I haven't seen since I wiped 4.80 earlier today (another vanilla install, seemed completely functional, installed it just for comparative purposes).

I can split these into different threads, but I'm not sure if they're call caused by the same problem. Sounds cookie-ish, but I'm using the same cookie for both products: phpbb2mysql-stage

BTW, In this message "The boards are temporarily down for maintainence", the proper spelling of the word is maintenance.

Ideas?

Thank you for any help you can give!

Had a similar problem with the Admin not working. My fix was to create a group in PHPBB called "Admin" and add myself. Then get the "id" for that group and add it to the usergroups table in Photopost, and give it CP access.

thx - - I'll give that a shot. I had to go back to Coppermine temporarily, as this problem and other complications were taking more time than I can afford before I need to launch my re-vamped site.

I am looking forward to going from Coppermine to Photopost, though.

Download 4.8.6 as any fixes I posted are in that build and I did two clean installs of phpbb2 for customers with no issue at all.

Just got 4.8.6 - - will hopefully be able to try it out today. I'm getting pretty close to launch, though, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it now or have to wait. I also have about 1000 images already uploaded by ~750 users (phpbb2 users), so the "upgrade" is pretty important. If I can't upgrade, then I will have to associate some of them manually and just put the others in a general archive. :-(

No way I have time to clean up all of those manually.

Thanks for the tip about 4.8.6.

The only issues with 4.8.5 where the usergroup inserts did not contain some new fields so the usergroups did not get imported. You could have ran the inserts I posted but 4.8.6 contains these

As long as our upgrade correction running all applicable upgrades you should be right as rain
