Admin user account lost admin privileges

Hi,

I installed Photopost after a fresh Vbulletin install and while everything is fine with Vbulletin (I have admin rights)...Photopost does not seem to be recognize my one and only user account as an admin.

While Photopost allows me to log-in, it keeps seeing me as an unregistered user for some reason.

What am I missing?

Thanks.

Have you aligned your cookie settings? Is your VB license number entered correctly into the Photopost config? This is crutial for the authentication process.

Hi Chuck,

The license # is correct. I cut and pasted it from Line 4 and double-checked for accuracy just now.

I also deleted the cookies from the browser and re-started my browser. Still getting the same result however.

Hi Chuck,

I just PM'd you with my user name and password. I hope you can take a look.

It seems to be some kind of registration issue with Photopost. Even new users I register do not become "registered" users. They remain unregistered although though they can log in.

On the Photopost main page, after I register and login, the page refreshes but the options of register and login remain the same.

A few things since I'm trying to think of what might be wrong:

1)I actually just noticed /usr/home/mysite/photopost/forums exists on my server.

I recall during install a config line having this pre-filled, but I changed it to /usr/home/mysite/vbulletin.

Was that correct on my part, or could this be the cause of my problems?

2)In my Photopost config file, I have $pp_db_prefix = "pp_"; for the user database prefix (which was the default and I did not changed anything). However, there is no such prefix in the Vbulletin config file. Does this matter?

Finally, I'm anxious to get this over with, so if installing a prior version of Photopost will help, then I'll do it. Would I just need to purge the Photopost database, re-load the files, and install?
