Cookie setting not in config-inc.php ??

I have seen many references to setting cookie path and prefixes via the config-inc.php file. However, I don't see this variable defined in that configuration file. Where is it ?

I cannot get into my adm-index.php file and I need to configure the system! I also believe other users are not able to get into their galleries because of this problem.

How can I fix this?

I have the same problem too. I just get the message "You are not a valid administrator or moderator!".

I use the vb3-enhanced integration.

Thanks!

The cookie setting is in the mysql database in the new version.
Run the upgrade script BEFORE jou replace the old config files whit the new one so the script can read the config files and put the settings in to the database.

Mine was a fresh installation of PP 4.8.5 with integration to vb3.0.3.

If i open the Mainpage everythings seems to be okay. It looks fully integrated. If I try to open adm-index.php it shows me a page that is not "my" style.

I have no idea in the moment.

I've looked at the database and I don't see any kind of settings for cookies in the settings table. I also tried using my old config-inc.php and users still cannot use the gallery.

Everything was working fine before the upgrade.

When I attempt to open adm-index.php the system will ask me for login info. After I type in valid information, it says "Thanks for logging in" and pushes me back to the main page. But, I AM NOT LOGGED IN !

I am using vbulletin 3.0.3, vbPortal 3.0.0...

I think the other thread solved your issue as your overwrote your config and your cookie settings are empty.

Here's what I did to get my admin login to work:

1) Restore my old database.
2) Copy my OLD config-inc.php file to the photopost directory.
3) Run the upgrade482.php (make sure it's in the root photopost dir).
4) Rename my old config-inc.php file to config-inc.php.XXX
5) Modify the NEW config-inc.php to match my system.
6) Copy the NEW config-inc.php file to my photopost directory.

I found that cookie settings were not in the database because I ran the upgrade incorrectly. Follow the instructions above and it should work!
