Have you uploaded your forum integration files

The convert_markups are located in those files in the forums subfdirectory under Photopost directory

yes i did
i did however keep the directory the same so mine would be
photo
---templates
-----alternate
-------vb3enhanced
then the rest of the tmpl files.

should i include the vb3enhanced tmpl files in with the rest of them?

convert_markups is located in the forums/*.php file, not in the template files; ensure that you uploaded those files properly.

You mean stylesheet? You need to set forum style to yes in admin options
