Can't access admin panel after 4.85 upgrade

I recently upgraded to 4.7 and still hadn't found time to integrate correctly with my site, but I could at least get in the admin section.

I just upgraded to 4.85 and while the site integration is closer than it was before, I've lost access to the administration screens. When I come from the VB3 forums into the gallery the site recognizes that I'm logged in. When I click on the Admin link I get a login page. When I login I get a confirmation page, and am thrown back out to the gallery home. I can't figure out what's going on.

I did notice that the cookie settings seem to be gone from the config files now so I'm not sure what else to look for.

I *am* using vbportal and I know you don't technically integrate with it yet, but it was at least functional before... I'd rather have it working without the styles than broken with it... any ideas?

I just noticed that there seems to be some strange cookie issue going on. If I log out of the forum and keep browsing I can confirm that I'm still logged out. As soon as I go into the gallery though, it logs me back in. If I then return to the forum I'm still logged in and can post.

nevermind... I screwed up the install and replaced my config-inc.php file with the new one (with updated settings) prior to running the upgrade.

For reference, to fix it, I had to:

- replace my old config-inc.php file
- re-run the upgrade482.php file
- put the new edited config-inc.php file back

I can now access the admin panel. I'm still having the cookie issue, but that's not a big deal for the moment.
