SQL error after VB3 upgrade

I'm sure you're tired of answering this, but I've done a search and everything I have tried has failed. I'm probably to the point of being so frazzled I can't see it right in front of me, but either way your help is appreciated.

This is version 4.7 that operated fine until I upgraded to VB3.

I didn't add a forum prefix for the VB3 upgrade script, my forum DB is reefsanc_vbulletin

I checked the config-inc.php file and there's no prefix set in there; checked 83 on reefsanc_vbulletin photopostsettings table, there's nothing entered there.

Here's the error:

Database error in vBulletin 3.0.3:

Quote:
Invalid SQL: SELECT * from _config
mysql error: Table 'reefsanc_vbulletin._config' doesn't exist

mysql error number: 1146

Date: Tuesday 14th of December 2004 02:36:48 AM
Script: http://www.reefsanctuary.com/photopost/

The only config table I see is with the prefix "VBP" that WAJones installed (he installed the photopost as well)

I also have reviewpost and am getting the same error with it.

Help would be MUCH appreciated.

Thanks!

Have you updated our products to use and look for VB3. I assume you most likely had them integrated with vb2

What does setting 41 say?

After you check and correct your error you would want to check out our documentation forum for assistance with everything else on vb3 integration. Could save you time and frustration.

I tried to run the "convertor" script but got the exact same SQL error when typing in the URL http://www.reefsanctuary.com/photopost/convertor.php

Setting 41 said "vb2" originally, I tried setting it to "vb3" after a search here and still got the same error.

I actually get 3 errors, I think the first two may have been happening for a while...

There seems to have been a slight problem with the Reef Sanctuary Forums database.

Would a clean install be a better solution at this point? I'm happy to upgrade, but I'm afraid the upgrade will meet with the same errors. If I do a clean install, will it be possible to migrate over all old files with the same links and data (user, comments, etc)?

I appreciate your help.

Travis

No

A better solution would be to correct your $PP_PATH in your photopost config to this

$PP_PATH="/home/reefsanc/public_html/photopost";

Then if your running the header-inc or such make sure to upload one that not uncommented yet.

Then you can run the convertor script and put back any header-inc files you want

Thanks omegatron, you're my hero.

There was a bunch of VBPortal integration gunk in header-inc

Seems to be working fine, now I need to tackle the integration.

Would I be better to upgrade to 4.8 and go from there?

Thanks again, great support.
