OT: Importing existing IPB1.3 to vB

Hi!
I'm in a big problem so I'm posting here this slightly off-topic post.

Since IPB went for paid licenses, I thought I could "cross-grade" my existing IPB forum into a vB one, and benefit of all the PP vB goodies.

The problem is that the vB importer creates new user ids and ditch the old ones. In forum specific matters, all posts and comments belong to the propper owner but when it comes to PP and RP, everything is a mess. Every photo and comment is assigned to a different user and scanning the db to resync photos/comments usernames only made it worse.

Is there any way of solving this problem?

Nope

Not short of writing a whole import script to reassign all the userid's and rewrite all the files or manually reassigning everything
