are user counts reduced in vB3 when pp posts deleted?

Does anyone know if deleting a post in PP will be reflected in a users overall post count in vB3?

Some time ago in previous versions of both PP and vB3, I updated the stats in vB, and it wiped out all my users post counts. Is that still an issue or is it safe to do now days?

Usually when a photo is deleted the post count in VB is minused by one

That still holds true and I know of no issues with it deleting all post counts in VB nor could it.

You seem to be asking two different questions.

If you update your stats (update counters?) in vB it will COUNT all your users' vB posts (not including their photopost posts/ratings, which vB doesn't know about)

Deleting a post in PP is another thing entirely.

Matt

Yep Matt caught that second one

Yes thats true VB has no idea that photopost is installed so if you recount things on the VB end of things it will wipe out anything we added and always will.
