Error when uploading photos

I receive this error when I confirm and upload the photo.

Warning: exec() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/flyfis3/public_html/PhotoPost/image-inc.php on line 58

It then will not create the thumbnail properly.

I came upon this issue while trying to fix my watermark issue, I am using Imagemagick.

Any ideas?

Your host has safe mode on.

The only way Photopost works with safe mode is this

1. Use GD

2. Have host place your web root path in the safe mode exec path statement allowing process's to function correctly

Ok cool, thanks Omega

I am shooting them an E-Mail right now to find out what they will be doing. They can either install GD2, or move me to a different server. I will add your #2 Option in the E-Mail and see if they will take care of that. If it fixes the issue It will save time.

Thanks Omega. Ill let you know what happens.

Omega,

Is exec() requred for GD2 also? I am just needing to make sure since they will probably have to move me to a new server and I want to make sure It will work heh.

They said that GD isinstalled but its obvious that it isnt since I am getting in big letters in the admin section saying "GD support is activated but is not installed" With GD activated I am also getting this warning.

Warning: dl() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/flyfis3/public_html/PhotoPost/adm-main.php on line 39

Let me know thannks.

Thanks

Looks like they moved me to a new server with GD installed and exec() available. Everything is back up and running.

Thanks for the info Omega.
