I am getting this error when I install PP. It also appears at the top of my vB forum. HELP.

Your pp_path is set incorrectly

It should be this.

/mnt/web_a/d24/s26/b01b4b09/www/photopost

You can edit your config file and place that path in the pp_path spot

Okay, I fixed that, thanks. Now I get this:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in /mnt/web_a/d24/s26/b01b4b09/www/photopost/install.php on line 485
I cannot connect to the PhotoPost database.

$link = mysql_connect("$host:3306", "$mysql_user", "$mysql_password") or die ('I cannot connect to the PhotoPost database.');

You have not entered the correct database connection information.

You fix it by entering the proper information to connect to your database you made.

Does the database your telling Photopost to copy tables to exist?

Does the mysql username valid and the password valid?

Is your host set right? Not every mysql host is localhost.

We do offer installation service if you are unable to get things installed.
