Newbie installation error...please advise

Hi,

I'm getting this error on the last step of installation. Everything else seemed to go well, but this page isn't specifying what the error is, and I don't have enough knowledge to know what the error code means. Here's the error code:

Failed MySQL Query: [Resource id #5]:UPDATE settings SET setting='photopost' WHERE id=41
Error:

and then the page is blank after that. Anyone have any ideas? If it helps, I am using iPowerWeb as my host.

Thanks,
Chris

I would check your mysql settings

You can also check your server's error logs for a more detailed explanation of the error. Are you trying to use an internal registration or a forum integration?

I am truly a newbie at this so I don't even know what the mysql settings are or how to check the server error logs. I do know that I am trying to use the internal registration though.

I have installed web software before, but this is the first one that didn't have enough documentation for me to work through it. Sounds like I probably need to buy the installation because I promised my members the gallery this week. oh well, thanks for trying to help omegatron.

In the documentation folder there are installation instructions and they are also on our main support page which is how you get to this forum to post
