new install no admin

after successfully installing v. 482 I get to the main page, log in using my vb3 admin account and I get the index page, but no admin options??

I have the cookie path set to "/" in pp and vb3 and the domain blank.

I have also put my vb3 license number in the config-inc.php file

any ideas what to check next?

Thanks,

Andy

Check your photopost usergroups table and ensure administrator is set to have cpaccess (1) and the groupid is 6 for admin

Then your not logged in and your cookie settings are not right.

Is photopost and the forum on the same domain?

I just helped a guy who had this

forum on

domain.com

and photopost on

www.domain.com

Notice the domains are not the same

You need to compare your cookies and also note the cookie prefix by default with vb is bb and should be set in Photopost as such

cookie path in both is set to "/"
cookie domain in both is set to ""

Andy

Your VB license is not set correctly or your domain in Photopost. Your not setting a cookie at all

Send me your config file to chuck@photopost.com to look at

Point is your not setting a cookie at all. You sure your domain is blank? You sure your vb license is correct. These are the only two things that could stop the cookie from making.

Also check these things

Your register link is going to here

http://www.woodsracer.com/forum/regi...?action=signup

not here like it should

http://www.woodsracer.com/portal/for...?action=signup

so your forum path is wrong

also verify in your settings table that you have selected vb3 integration and not vb2
