Changing ownership of photos in Category?

I think this has been asked in part before, but most of the previous replies implied writing an external script, which is probably beyond my abilities.

I'm running PhotoPost PHP 4.8.1 on the Viper Club of America - New England Region Web site. For the initial seeding of >1,100 photos, I used my personal account to upload photos into each non-Member category. Many of these photos were actually shot by our ace photographer, Nick Craig.

To give credit where credit belongs, I'd like to change ownership of all the photos in a given category from "Dave Dugal" to "Nick". Is there any way to do this within the PP Admin interface? Can ownership of multiple photos be changed in bulk anywhere within the GUI?

I know how to upload multiple photos on behalf of someone, but now that they're up there, can they be changed to their rightful owner, postscript?

Thanks!

There is no mass change ownership script but if you edit a photo and are logged in as admin there is an option to type in a new owner

Thanks for the reply, Chuck. That's unfortunate. I did know about the per-photo ability to change ownership, but that doesn't scale very well for ~1000 photos.

Perhaps this is something you can consider for a future release of PP?

I am having the exact same issue.
After doing a search and finding this thread and not much else, I thought I'd post here to see if there is any news on this considering the last post here is almost two years old!

No there is no mass image ownership change script

So why is it when you Edit an Album's "sort order" or something, Admin gains the ownership and the original owner loses out.

This has already been addressed in the bug forum
