Stupid questions from a newbie

I'm sorry if these two questions seem stupid, but I just don't want anything happening to my current gallery and I end up losing all my member's layouts.

I am currently running 4.7 and am wanting to upgrade to 4.8, but I can't find any clear cut instructions. Do I just replace all the files from 4.7 with 4.8's? Also, will I lose any photos?

2nd question: I have Invisionboard as my forum and am wanting to integrate it with php. How do I go about doing this?

Well

The upgrade instructions are right in the upgrades folder of the download.

Yes I would upload all files except these

header-inc.php
header.htm
footer.htm
config-inc.php

plus if you modified a stylesheet

and then run the upgrade47.php script


As far as integrating with Invisionboard you would first need to import all your photopost users into a clean invisionboard forum so you dont mess with any photos.
