2PP4.8/1dom/1db/1Forum: How to move pics between two

I have about 100 pics that need moving from one PPPro app to the newPPpro install (same domain/database/forum/users)

Any way to do this and keep the info on the photos intact?

It would be a nice feature if there was an easy way to move pics between multiple apps

Thanks,
Mark

What do you mean same?

Obviously the paths and databases are separate or you would not need move them

The only way I know is to copy those INSERTS from the one photos table to the other and then copy the relative files also to the new data directory

well I finally got someone to move the pics for me.

I put them all into one Cat in the original app, they were moved to the new app, then I moved them to new cats, still using v4.8.2

What is strange is that all these pics show in reverse sequence in the
showgallery cats (earliest pics is at top), whereas all my new uploads are correct?
Any ideas why this prob?

When they were moved to the new app the showphoto.php?photo=# stayed with them, and I would have prefered if they could have been renumbered...

Problem solved!

Sure would be nice if you could provide an admin method of moving pics around between multiple PP apps on the same database...

Thanks,
Mark
