Help setting full path, won't let me delete / at end of data

It won't let me delete a trailing / at the end of my data directory in my config options. The full path is:

/home/virtual/site8/fst/var/www/html/gallery/data

it shows it as:

/home/virtual/site8/fst/var/www/html/gallery/data/

None of my images will display, and when I delete it and save it, I come back, and it's magically reappeared. What can I do?

My data directory is

/usr/local/apache/htdocs/photos/

and works just fine

I would suspect you either have a wrong path or something else going on? what do you mean they do not show. Do the thumbs show?

None of the images or thumbs show. They are uploaded to the server, I checked, and they are there. Any other ideas?

Double check your path info in the php info button in the photopost admin area

Then FTP into your server and check and make sure the data directories and its subcategories are 777. The files within each category should be 666
