Upgrading from 4.8 to 4.82

ok, i'm about to try this, but being a novice I have a question.

I've looked at you notes which explain changes and files to be uploaded from 4.8c to 4.82, and thorughout the versions it appears all i need to do are upload the new/altered files. Which makes sense, but if i am upgrading from 4.8 to 4.82, do i have to work my way through the whole of that post uploading each file from 4.8c through 4.82 that are mentioned?

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but logic dictates if i simply upgrade the files listed in 4.8.2, then i'm going to have missed the other alterations. Also, in my members download area, only 4.8.2 is available.

And would any of the earlier file changes be negated by the newer version i'm downloading.

You need to upload ALL files listed from 4.8x to 4.8.2 from the 4.8.2 zip file. No database changes have been made so the files are all you need to upload.
