PhotoPost menu bar login link path

After a successful integration with VB3 using the styles and menu bars and proper links there is one item I have not yet been able to resolve yet. How do you change the path that the Login or Logout link in the PP menu bar points to? All other links are pointing right except this one. Weather it be to the forums or to the gallery. If a user uses this link at anytime they go to the PP login and logout page instead of VB3 which gets things messed up. I have saw this asked before but can't find any responses. Anyone else have this problem?

Whos login and logout are we talking here? I have a feeling your talking the VB navbar and in the navbar template the login.php reference is still a relative link instead of a full url.

In that case edit your vb navbar template and find login.php and place a full url in front of it

The PhotoPost Nav Bar. The VB3 Nav Bar works right.

You might want to post a url as our navbar works just fine. You can view and try it on this site as well.

At any rate we would need to see what your talking about.

The site is firerescuephotographers.com/gallery
on the PhotoPost NavBar is.
Home · Search · Register · Login
the link Register points to the vb3 forums register link
the login points to the gallery login directory

Even if a user logs in the through the forums are and comes back to the photo gallery the PhotoPost menu bar login link still points to the gallery directory so if they try to logout using that link it doesn't work.

As long as a user the login box upper right corner or in the forums area everything works well.

There really isn't much use for the extra login/logout link in the PP menu bar anyway so maybe it could be removed.

You could remove it if you wanted; but not everyone who uses vB intergration uses the headers/footers. If logout isn't working, then there is something wrong with your configuration.

Check to make sure that path to your vb forums in your admin options if properly set.

Think I may have found it.

I had the
Select a theme for your website
Choose from the available themes for your site layout
set to Black Tar instead of default. When I changed it back to Default it corrected the problem. I dunno????

As Michael stated You can remove it but if BOTH LOGIN/LOGOUT functions do not work there is something wrong with the way it is configured.

You can go to our gallery and login/logout through the navbar and menubar and both work. I dont see how the stylesheet would intefere with it.

Still Working

Well I can't explain it but went back and reselected Select a theme for your website and went back to the Black Tar instead of default and it's still working. Guess it needed a kick in the pants... Don't matter it works!

BTW
Want to really know what I really think about Photo Post?

I just purchased another copy today for another site.
I have been using Coppermine for the last 2 years because I didn't want to have to pay for software. Well now that I did and have been able to use your support, I wish I had did this a lot sooner. Won't go into any details.

Thanks
