Trouble getting big images to display

I have just installed Photopost and have got the majority ofit working. However when I upload an image the thumbnail is created and displays correctly but neither the full size image or the medium image will display (they are replaced by the standard placeholder when an image can't be found)

I have looked in the data folder and checked the permissions are set for 777, the photos have been uploaded to the server. I took a look at the source and this is the scc of the image

gallery/watermark.php?file=510/1Iguacu_falls-med.jpg

I thought I had turned watermarks of but maybe I missed something.

I'm running on a linux server with PHP 4.03 using GD2 for the image manipulation.

Thanks for your help it's probably something simple that I'm doing wrong

Do you have on the fly watermarks enabled? Try turning them off or make sure you have properly set up the watermark.php file.
