vb3 integration Admin access

I finally got Photopost installed and it is using vb3 user table for logins but.......... When I switched over to vb3 for member management, I can no longer Administer PhotoPost. I have fished around and don't see how to resolve.

Please, any comments or suggestions?

Thanks!

You need to sync your usergroups. Make sure your admin usergroup is 6 (vb default) and there are 1's in all the fields. Look at the table in phpMyAdmin.

OK, I verified the following:

Cookie Path same as vB3
Cookie Domain same as vB3

Usergroups have all fields/cols set to 1.
My user name has usergroup set to 6 same as in vB3 user table.

If set to use vB3 user table for membership management, when in PhotoPost, it shows accurate number of users from vB3 db. BUT it shows me as logged in annonomously.

If I click to log in through PhotoPost, it accepts my loggin but still does not show me as a logged in user or the ability to administer PhotoPost.

If the answer isn't easy/convenient to type out I would really appreciate the opportunity to call via telephone to get over this hurdle. If so, please PM me with a number to call.

Thanks!

If you have switched to VB3 integration from some other you need to as Don suggested resync the usergroups table in Photopost.

You need to view the usergroups table and set the Administrators entry and make sure the groupid has a value of 6 and cpaccess set to 1

I have that set as you say. All values are set to 1. When I reset to VB3 integration and reload the Photopost page I have:

Statistics
Users: 3
Photos: 0
Comments: 0
Disk Space: 0.0mb
Users browsing the gallery: 1 unregistered user

It accurately reflects the correct number of users but it doesn't see me (1 unregistered user) as the current registered user.

Thank you for your patience!!

I'm having the same exact problem as you Larry. I installed the lastest version of PP and after setting all settings for vb3 and pp and the install was done. I try to login and it says login successful, and redirects me back to the photopost page.

Weird thing is that it knows me, cause when i go to login problems it shows my correct userid from vB3.

But im not acually logged in.

Your problem is cookies.

Read the VB3 integration FAQ linked at the top of the Install Forum here on support and pay careful attention to cookies especially cookie prefix and vb license number entered in the photopost config.

The cookies values must be the same between both products.
