problems installing due to 'categories' already exists

I have a problem installing photopost php

i am using photopost to link with an image gallery for a website.

the website has been created, and has been up and running for a while now. it written in Php and uses a MySql database.

recently i was informed that the owner of the site wants to use photopostphp for the image gallery.

pas de probleme - i was told -

the issue i am having with the installer is using my database with php installer.
my database already uses the table 'categories' and the installer wants to add different table 'categories' -> so has problems creating the table - and also problems with query scripts in that the 'categories' table which i created for the site is of a different size as the 'categories' for photopost - so the queries have errors.

changing the table 'categories' in my original database is a big procedure - and i don't want to create a new database, but link of mine with photopost.

how can i do this

Install PhotoPost with a table prefix which will create all the tables with a prefix that will prevent the duplication.
