I'm not trying to have an argument or say you were wrong, i'm merelely trying to express what I found confusing so I can get my site up and running

Anyway, so basically I can set the VB and PP cookies to either .ozhonda.com or just leave them blank (as long as they are both the same) ?

Yep it does not matter what you set them to either would work. The example posted in the FAQ shows as I stated that the key is to make sure cookies are set site wide that the domains match and the cookie prefix matchs as well as entering the VB License number in the photopost config.

If you do these steps you have no issues in regards to cookies. I am merely stating a point since you posted that there were descrepancies in the FAQ.

If you do a search on this forum you were see tons of threads where users are answered that cookie settings must be identifcal.

omegatron, I took a lot of time reading through the threads and ensured that all the settings are correct.

However the problem is that sometimes when I log into VB, I'm not logged into PP as well. But let say I look at a few pages in my forum, or log into the VB3 admin panel and come back, then i'm logged into PP.

Its just that it works sometimes and not at other times.

I've still got my cookie domain set to .ozhonda.com (For both VB3 and PP), set the cookie prefix to 'bb' (for both VB3 and PP) as well as set the cookie path to '/' for both VB3 and PP as well as made sure I have the correct licence number.......but still it doesn't always work :|

Photopost works by setting cookies. VB works by sessions or cookies. When logging in throught VB you need to make sure you check the remember me box to create a cookie. You can edit your VB template and hit the remember me box and add select="selected" to the input box so it is checked by default

Or turn the selection box into a hidden input instead so it's always going to be done...
