| A few issues with 4.8d
Hi Guys,
Just having a few issues.. I upgraded to 4.8d the other day and all of a sudden I am experiencing some issues.
Firstly, I am getting a heap of mysql error emails, the only problem is that they do not refer to a specific script, so I cannot troubleshoot them. I can paste one here, but they are relatively useless...
Secondly, a heap of my members say that they login to the gallery and it takes them back to the home and asks them to login again. I am using the VB3 rego system and this was working fine until the upgrade. I have set all cookie domains to .mydomain.com etc... but they can't login and upload pics (link to related thread on my forums with screenshots is here)
any help would be muchly appreciated.
Christian

Things like this are always cookies.
Have you entered the cookie prefix?
Have you entered your VB License not customer number in the photopost config?

Without the errors its unlikely I'd have an opinion.

Try the vB3 FAQ, it has all the info you'll need to integrate with vB3....

my members have a problem logging into PHOTOPOST and you tell me to consult my VB3 FAQ?
*sigh* I guess I'll wait for omegatron to get online, unlike you he actually answers my questions.

And he said, "Things like this are always cookies.".
And he's right.
I suggested you consult the vB3 FAQ at the top of this forum which has very explicit instructions on checking your configuration. And since you didn't post a link to your site, I couldn't verify it myself.
[I've edited your remarks and removed the inappropriate reference.]

Prank
It looks like you have read the VB3 integration FAQ and corrected the cookie issue as I login fine to your site between both products. Your site link obviously was used obtained from the screenshot link you posted.
By the way there was nothing wrong with Michael's response to you. Reading the VB3 FAQ has been stated by everyone here at support and even customers trying to help customers. That is why they are there.

Not a problem at all. If people did not get worked up it would not be interesting. |
