| Favorites sends an empty zip (with a folder in it no pics)
Ok, Apparently the "zip process" is working, but it doesn't send/zip the photos that were sent to the favorites, and were selected for being downloaded. Anything in particular that could cause this?
Everything else works fine after upgrading to 4.8d and this is sort of working, just not sending images in the zip file. Permissions somewhere?

hmm, as I said, everything else works- so what permissions would you suggest?
I'm not certain where it moves the files, if at all, to create the zip file? /data correct /upload correct /tempup correct

It is quite possible you do not have access permissions to gzip on the server. This may or may not be something you can solve depending on your server.
Just like the many mail threads around here we use the built in capacity of certain functions in PHP. If your host does not have it installed or installed improperly there is not much we can suggest.

I have administrative rights on the box.
it's there- and a folder is zipped and sent, just no pictures. PHP has zip enabled through extensions, do I need to enable something else?
note: it is a win2k server box

I am not a server guy
It uses the normal zip commands of php. The zipndownload.php file is what creates the zip.

I knew that much, but the server isn't failing in creating the zip, adding a folder, or sendig it on it's way. Who is the "server integration" guy? Can you forward this to him?
permissions: correct
zip: enabled http://www.uspartypix.com/gallery/
--michael still has an account on it I think, if not registration is open.

There really is no server config guy to be honest. We all know a bit and enough to help with normal server configurations and stuff related to specific errors we have seen with this program.
Your issue is not on your server at all though. It is on your home computer end
I registered a username of Omegatron and put a couple pics in my favorites and downloaded it. They download just fine for me.

hmm, perhaps it doesn't like firefox... thanks for the input. I'll try safari and standard mozilla.. see if those are more friendly!
