Few Things

Tell us what server operating system you are running. Windows? Flavor of Linux? What version is it? Service packs or other updates applied?

Linux. Redhat 9. 2.4.20

Tell us what version of PHP and MySQL you are running.

PHP 4.3.6
MySQL 4

Tell us whether the server in question is a dedicated host or if it is a shared host.

Dedicated

Tell us if the server is under your control or if you are leasing/renting/borrowing hosting space from someone else.

I lease it but I have full root access.

Give us a URL that links us straight to your PhotoPost installation. If it is a private installation that limits access to unregistered guests, give us a dummy account to use that actually has access to the photos.

http://www.racersden.net/gallery/index.php

Questions.

1) Several of us have private gallerys. I have the vB Integration hack. Pictures from our private gallerys show up across the top of the Forum. People click on the pic but they are asked for a password. WHY DO THE PIC EVEN SHOW UP?

2) Unregistered users are able to post pics. When they upload it says UNREGISTERED.

3) Cookie thing still isn't working. It makes people re-login to the gallery and forums constantly. I have done the cookie edit like it says in the stickey and cleared all mine out and told others to do the same.

4) Regular users are able to make TOP LEVEL Albums.

See here for forums http://www.racersden.net/forum/index.php?

and here for gallery http://www.racersden.net/gallery/index.php

Notice Truck Pics gallery? I did not make that. A regular user did.

If you want an admin login someone (from PPDev Team) PM me.

EDIT: To add info at the top.

1. It's not a supported hack
2. Please see the ongoing discussion here about users who use sessions instead of cookies to login.
3. You either have the cookie prefix, cookie path, cookie domain or your vB license number entered incorrectly in the config-inc.php file.
4. Your usergroups seem to be incorrectly set. Make sure that only your admin group has admin permissions.

What? One of the reasons I purchased this was its 'Integration with vBulletin'. Regardless the 'hack' should NOT display photos from a 'Private' album.

I do not understand? Session instead of cookies?

Nope. prefix = bb, path = / domain = .racersden.net
If I view config-inc.php domain is set to .racersden.net but if I view Edit Config via the PhotoPost admin it is empty, is that a problem?

I've cleared my cookies, opened Netscape 7, Cookie manager and login to vB, view the cookies, then I switch to gallery, required to login again and there are no 'extra' cookies. License number I'm using is the same one I use to get access to the vbulletin forum.

Admins and Super Mods have Admin perms.

The user that made the gallery his perms are,
N N Y Y N 102400 300 Y N Y Y

I'm at a loss.

And that piece of code is not supported here as it is not part of the distribution package.

What's in the file when you view it via ftp? What is your forum cookies setup to be? Did you enter your customer number instead of your license number? The problem is ALWAYS one of those 4 items not matching up.
