Exclamation Upgrade Issue

I am attempting to upgrade to 4.8d and am getting this error:
Quote:
Warning: main(config-inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/warofthe/public_html/photoforum/upgrades/upgrade.php on line 15

Warning: main(config-inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/warofthe/public_html/photoforum/upgrades/upgrade.php on line 15

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'config-inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/warofthe/public_html/photoforum/upgrades/upgrade.php on line 15
I saw no need to modify my config file from version 4.7, however it appears to be having a problem with it?

Help please?

As per the upgrade instructions you are to copy any upgrade files needed to run into the main photopost directory.

you do not run then from the upgrades directory.

IMHO, this is a confusing way to provide upgrade scripts. Why not allow users to run from the /upgrades directory? What if you were to create an /install directory and put new install.php with the upgrades in the same folder?

I was caught by this one....

There is no special reason we could not do that persay and I will pass on that suggestion however you obviously as in the last user did not read the upgrade instructions. Our support load would be very light if users read the documentation we provide them with. There are numerous issues with installs/upgrades posted here and alot could be solved by reading the documentation.
