WELL on a windows machine 777 equals come and break into me. You need to set guests to full access on the data and uploads directories and subdirectories

So are you then suggesting i dont use photpost on a Windows 2003 Server? Or is your advice "everyone" group full control?

Omegatron, if i choose the paid install fee option, can you assure me photopost will verify the install to working and secure? My limited knowledge of php scares me that i would be opening up my box to malicious code. I understand that config ini file will allow me to filter uploads but my concern is the "full control" access to the uploads directory. Please let me know.

thanks,

Unless you have access to change file and directory permissions on a windows server NO WE CAN NOT GUARANTEE but then if we can not finish an install you are refunded your install charge. You host would need to change permissions for you if you have no access to such things.

Ok back at it and still struggling with this error:

/uploads/1: Error creating directory (check permissions).

Please notify the System Administrator.

PHP Warning: fopen(/uploads/1/index.htm): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\WWW\fullspeed.tv\pp-inc.php on line 1474 PHP Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in D:\WWW\fullspeed.tv\pp-inc.php on line 1475

This is what i have done on my windows 2003 server:

set appropriate permissions for "iusr" + "iwam" = modify on uploads and data directory
set script and excutible permissons on ii6 (required?)
set cmd.exe permissions to be read + execute for "iusr" + "iwam" (required ?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

After setting the appropriate "iusr" + "iwam" permissions on the uploads and data directory.

fopen(/uploads/1/index.htm):

What do you have set for "PATH to UPLOADS directory?" in the admin panel?

Welp, it should be

D:\WWW\fullspeed.tv\uploads\ judging by the error message... complete server path, not partial.
