vb3 user profiles

Hi,

With version 4.7j the profile links in Photoshop linked to the vb3 user public profiles. With Photoshop 4.8 there are separate user profiles in the Photopost area. Can someone explain how I can relink the user profiles to the VB3 profiles?

Thanks.

That would be a modification and not discussed here. I would suggest asking over at PhotoPostDev.com

Wel, with the Photopost 4.7 install it was part ofthe integration... guess I'll have to go through that again. The only response I got at Photopostdev suggested I ask here.

you have to change the for example
showphoto.tmpl in the admin area of photopost "Edit Templates"

and change this: /member.php?uid=$iuserid"
to this: /forum/member.php?u=$iuserid"

<span class="{$Style['small']}">{$Globals['pp_lang']['poster']}:</span>
</td>
<td class="{$Style['tddetails']}" align="left">
<span class="{$Style['small']}"><a href="{$Globals['maindir']}/forum/member.php?u=$iuserid"><b>$photouser - eine private Nachricht schreiben</b></a>&nbsp;
(<a href="{$Globals['maindir']}/showgallery.php?cat=500&amp;ppuser=$iuserid">{$Globals['pp_lang']['seeall']}</a>)$userip</span>

Okay and take note doing this removes a whole lot of functionality of Photopost

The member.php file is in use as a management center where users can manage their notifications subscriptions and bulk photo management.

Reverting that link to a prior functionality is not suggested

would there be any way then to just insert the link for the vbulletin profile from that page then instead to keep the funcationality of that feature and then a link to photopost? what file could this be inserted if so?

We've eliminated notifications, subscriptions and don't use bulk photo management.
Any other reason why we shouldn't use this?

Prefer how it was in 4.7

Beauty of Photopost mod it to how you want to. Code modifications can be discussed over at http://www.photopostdev.com
