| Something is WRONG with my upgrade to 4.8c
Warning: main(): stream does not support seeking in /home/++++++/public_html/photo/pp-inc.php on line 64
Could not connect to User databaseNo Database Selected
I just uploaded all of the files, and triple checked my config-inc file and nothing is incorrect but I still get the above error
One guess: I put my site as
$PP_PATH = "http://www.mydomain.org/photo";
in the config file. Maybe this is my problem. How should I write that line? Is that the problem?

PP_PATH is not a URL, its a path....
/home/+++++/public_html/photo

In that case, I still have a problem. Corrected that problem, and now it says:
Could not connect to User databaseNo Database Selected
I am guessing it has to do with the header-inc file?? Any ideas?

Has nothing to do with the header-include
You have not entered the proper mysql information to connect to the user database

Found my little error! Thanks for the help. However, now it looks like it works but all of the pictures are not there! This is really confusing. Where did they go. I deleted all of the old files and uploaded all of the new files and can't get into the admin. Error with the pp_inc.php file?

Sammy did you do an install or an upgrade? Your title says upgrade yet it looks like you did a complete reinstall.
I would look to make sure your not connecting to a new install of Photopost. I would verify what you are trying to do. Look at what database you are trying to connect to.
In the documentation folder of the install there is a changelog.txt file which includes all file changes from version to version as well as what steps you take to upgrade. You would have saved yourself alot of hassle following that.
This as Michael said is INCORRECT
$PP_PATH = "http://www.mydomain.org/photo";
it needs to be a path no url
As far as your databases I can not answer your question. If you show no photos at all then looks like you installed a second copy of Photopost in the database under a different table prefix and your using that instead of the old install.

omegatron,
Thanks for all the help. I have realized that I have deleted my photos, because they were in the data folder. I have found a old backup and using the pictures from that for now. I just did an upgrade.
I still can't get into my admin file. It says that it cannot open the pp_inc.php file. I did do a path as everyone suggested earlier.
My path is /home/+++++/public_html/photo
What would keep me from getting into the admin folder?

I would just double check all your paths and url's in your settings table via phpmyadmin
There are way too many things you could have gotten into that could mess things up which you do on an install including database settings etc.
If you continue to have issues PM me a link to your install and mysql database
