| How do I make PP NOT put pics from other categories into the user galleries?
Okay, I'm going to try and explain this a little bit more.
I have user uploads/albums enabled. That's cool, I like it. However, if I create a different category away from the user galleries, (Just for admin uploads.. kind of like my websites official galleries) and I upload to them, my pictures also go in the user galleries under my name.
Is there any way to prevent that? So that the images only show up in the one category they were meant to be in?
I'm going to try and show a weird example here...
Category
Member Galleries (As of now, the pics are uploaded here under my username, and the category below)
Category 2
Official Gallery (I want the pics uploaded to this one only) |

"Do you want to show the Members Gallery in List format?"
"Show last photo thumbnail in member galleries listing?"
"Display Members Gallery on the main index page? "

He must have been running like 4.6.6 or something where it was removed. I dont think it was ever included in an upgrade to add it back in for those that removed it.
INSERT INTO settings VALUES (94,'Do you want Members Gallery to show all of a users photos?','memformat','','yes',57,2);

INSERT INTO settings VALUES (94,'Do you want Members Gallery to show all of a users photos?','memformat','','yes',57,2); | Is that a database update ?
If not
Where do I insert that line ? What file ? What line number ?
Since I have tried to stay on top of the upgrades and have followed the upgrade instaructions how was I supposed to get this feature back ?

Nobody is calling you a retard - the adm-options script dumps out the values in the settings table, but for some reason yours is skipping that one.
Can you provide the record for that id?
Make sure the optionorder is 57 and section is 2.
That puts it in the ADMIN OPTIONS section of the page (the second section).
Also, what version of PHP and MySQL are you using?

You definately have an issue posting such nonsense. Telling you to look again means nothing of the sort. I would appreciate you posting in an appropriate manner fitting an intelligent adult.
Now on to your photopost problem. Try rerunning your upgrade47.php script.
Your missing quite a few admin option settings. This can be seen by here is the admin options which is the second paragraph of options
Admin Options
Use email to notify users?
Users can be notified of photo approvals and deletions.
Allow users to be notified of new posts via email?
Allow users to upload photos.
Allow users to post comments.
Do you want to allow ZIP uploads?

Allow users to create Personal Albums?
Allow multimedia uploads?
Do you want to be notified of all new comments?
Notify Admin of New Uploads?
Do you want to allow people to download their favorites?
Allow users to move/delete their own images?

How many days after an eCard has been read do you want to keep it?
Do you want Members Gallery to show all of a users photos?
Display Statistics on Index Page.
Display Statistics on Index Page.
Show random photos in default location (bottom)? (if no, will display at top)

Im definately an adult and definaltely intelligent - I just have expectations that I be treated with some respect when interfacing with a vendor.
I try to do all the research I can and address all the issues I can before posting here.
After my 3rd or 4th post on the same issue isnt it safe to assume that I have looked at least twice ?
To use your term " intelligent adult"
I would hope ANY Intelligent adult would have looked at least 3 or 4 times before asking for help - Since I posted about the same issue a number of times including a post where I upgraded the entire software package from scratch and also ran a sql query to attempt to fix the problem. Would an intelligent person do that without "Looking again" ?
In my mind the only reasons anyone who was in a support role would say as you did "Look again it should be there" is because either they didnt read the earlier part of the thread to know what depths of things I have already tried OR they were treating me like a child or in my term a retard.
In other words give me and your other paying customers just a little credit.
Here is the content of that entry in the table Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
I also just tried running the upgrade47.php and it generated a bunch of duplicate entry errors
php version 4.3.8
mysql Client API version 4.0.20

We have customers who look 5 times and never see a setting.
You were told to look again and you went on a rant.
You have yet to do as I instructed or acknowledge you did what I suggested in my last post.
In every Photopost I look at in 4.8 there are 15 options for the Admin Options (SECTION 2)
The members gallery option display to show all a users photos or not is shown last

Yep I went on a rant - Im in the IT field - Have been for 12 years -
I have seen many many support people that quickly scan tickets and respond based on half the info to move on as quickly as possible. In my field most of them have been laid off a long time ago

I think you have failed read your posts. No where on any of your posts here except the one posted a few minutes ago after my post did you state you ran upgrade47.php again as I instructed.
I see you also edited the post above trying to trick people into thinking you posted it before. You post ended with this
Here is the content of that entry in the table http://www.svtgalleries.net/gallery/data/500/1pp.jpg |

There is no trickery going on
I edited the post - so what
The original post time is recorded as is the edit time.
Anyone familar with VB would not be fooled by an edit time
Give me a break - I tend to rethink my responses quite often.
I responded to all the recommendations/suggestions at once in the same post. My last edit in that post with the upgrade info was 2:27 pm
Your smart ass response was posted at 2:35
Proof that you didnt read my post. Which I still contend has been the issue all long.
Still waiting for some help with the issue at hand.
With the way you seem to enjoy taking shots at your paying customers I dont think Ill be trusting you with a login to my gallery.
