Multiple Categories Question

I've just upgraded to the latest version.

I notice that you can now add a photo multiple categories. (Cool feature! I think I'm one of the folks who asked for it...)

My question is regarding existing photos. Is it possible to add the existing photos to more than one category? I've got thousands of photos, re-uploading them all isn't a good option, so hopefully there's another answer.

At this time there is not - it can only be done during upload.

Urm, maybe i'm missing something - how do you add a photo to multiple categories? Is this only during admin bulk upload? I did STF (at least I tried hard) and I couldn't find any mention of multiple categories for a single photo w/out copying the photo and doing multiple uploads.

Just found out how to do this - sorry, I just upgraded recently from 4.1 to 4.8 and it must have been in one of those middle releases.

Just noticed that when a picture is added to 2 categories at once it appears twice in the users member galleries page... I checked - the JPG doesnt appear to be actually hosted twice - it just looks like it

How difficult would it be to add this functionality to PhotoPro??

Depends on your level of experience with PHP - you would need to modify the Edit Product page to allow for additional copying.
