Email notification includes html

I enabled the admin email notification option that sends me an email when someone uploads a new images. The email itself includes some unexpected html coding with it.

See this example.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
How can I clean this up so the html is not included in the message?

Are you electing to send HTML email or no in admin? What happens if you switch that setting.

Under Mail Settings > Use HTML email: I had it set to: Yes.

I just changed it to No, and I'll let you know how that works after someone upload an image.

well the funny thing here is if you select to use html email how come the html is not rendering maybe you have in your email setup not to allow html email then any html of course in the email would not be rendered.

It came into Gmail, and I receive a number of regular html email all the time in the box. Gmail didn't even seem to try and process it as an html email.

Interesting indeed as a break tag is simply that an html line break

I will see what I can find out will do some testing sending to my gmail account versus others.
