Odd DHTML menu behavior

1 Attachment(s)
I'm at my wits end trying to figure out why our site's DHTML menus exhibit odd behavior whenever we drill down to view a photo within our photopost gallery.

Example here:

DSC_6171_Before_After - Free online photo gallery at PhotoCamel.com

Notice the odd missing blank.gif which causes a big black horizontal bar to appear in the menus (graphic below).

This behavior occurs only on the showphoto page, when viewing an image full size.

Any ideas regarding why this is?

Thanks.

well not like I know what coding your using but off the top of my head I would suggest you check your coding and make sure if your are referencing any image in your menu's and those menu's load images from sone other directory you do not use relative urls. Make sure to use full urls to any images you reference so the image can always be found.

That would be my best guess.

Where in vbulletin does one specify the use of full URLs rather than relative?

I would have no idea I am talking about your dhtml menu not vbulletin. You would have had to create such a menu. There is no ability in vb to create custom menus at least without mods. You are actually creating such code so how are you calling that image. Is it a stylesheet reference then make sure you correct the link to any image there.

See this is the image it is looking for

http://photocamel.com/gallery/mine/blank.gif

Your using some relative link like so somewhere /mine/blank.gif

No other menu you have created seems to use an image.
