How Do I add a new user group?

Hi,

I'm in the admin panel and I found the option for Editing Usergroups, but no where do I see any kind of link to add a new user group. Does this have anything to do with the fact that I have photopost integrated with Wordpress?

Thanks,

Andrea

Yes that would be correct you are not using a standalone.

What I remember about wordpress is they have no usergroups. You may be able to give someone mod or admin access to a specific user but no usergroups table.

Most integrates you would see a refresh admin groups link and if the integration had usergroups in the forum integration they would be imported and you would create new groups in the forum.

Since wordpress has none of that functionality and the users only are in wordpress your limited to that softwares functionality meaning the user is a user a mod or an admin.

I double checked how wordpress works and indeed they have no real usergroups.

As stated I know an administrator is user level 10 meaning that is how we know you are an admin. Using your site as a guide this is what I found

Subscriber is 0
Contributor is 1
Author is 2
Editor is 7
Admin is 10

Therefore in Photopost I expanded upon the groups and this is now how we do it

Contributor is 1
Author is 2
Subscriber is 3
Guest is 4
Editor is 7
Admin is 10

You can look at your usergroups in photopost to see what I did for you. That might eleviate some of your confusion. The problem is when dealing with a product that has no usergroups we usually just make our own but no big deal I can match them to post roles it makes no difference.
