Borders Messed Up

Hi Chuck,

This is related to my custom style but I hope you might have a suggestion though. I do not have any idea where/what to edit to attempt to correct.

I installed the latest Pro Version and all went well except for an issue with the boarders being too small around all of the boxes in photo post (search, calendar, stats, ect...) Would you be able to advise how to correct this issue. It looks like a couple of px off in thickness.

Thanks for your assistance. Brian

Your style seems a little wonky on your forum side as well your images are above the bars there.

Our style matching is done based off the default vb4 style so if your using some really custom style you can see issues. we map the sbox and boxhead classes based off that default vb style and as long as your custom style is made in the vb4 manner it should display fine.

I would suspect you have some style variable that is making some weird padding or height statement

However looking at your site source this could be as simple as the link to your background image is relative for that style and not a full url

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
That should be a full url and the stylevar in vb we match to there is forumhead background

Thanks for the help. The reason why this is happening then (I think) is because the top half of the tcat.png image is transparent. I changed the tcat.png image to a new image with no transparency and it fixed the issue in the photopost but messed up other sections of the forum that need the half transparent image. The question now is how can I use tcat2.png instead of tcat.png.

I am not sure what the wonky issue is exactly. I disabled the everywhere sidebar. Would you be able to tell me if what you were referring to has been corrected? That mod definitely had the sidebars too high.

Thanks for the sharp eye.

Brian

You did not do what I noted because your image is never going to be found using a relative url instead of full url so that is the issue as I see it.

background: url(images/styles/christmas/images/tcat.png) no-repeat right top;

You can send us an admin login through the contact us link to check out your issue.

Thanks for your continued support. Where would I change this to a full URL?

I changed it to several different urls in an attempt to correct this is the forumhead_background for that style without success?

You would change it under the forum stylevars. Like I said I would have a look if you send a login to see what your doing.

Thanks for the help on the borders Chuck. I see on showmembers.php the user name is in white and the border in grey so it is difficult to see the name. Can I edit either the background or the text color. I think making the grey background navy would be preferable. Any idea why the red boxes exist??

I think your mod looks good on my somewhat wonky theme

I just changed the span for the name to boxtitle not small that did the trick but yes your style is very custom indeed.

Good morning Chuck,

I moved my forum from the /root to /forums and phtopost into /forums/photopost. The Tcat image for the borders is not visible now. I believe I just need to add /forums/ into the path for that image in PP. Do you know here to do that? I did not figure that out first time though. Thanks

That would be in your forum stylesheet under the forumhead_background stylevar I think in your styleshet stylevar editor in vb admin panel.
