Admin Link

No Admin Link presented on a new install of PP, using vb4 integration, all other links appear just fine, also if i disable the vb4 intergration or use a default theme, the admin link appears just fine?

Vbulletin version being used is 4.1.10

I assume this is the design by default, but why is the admin being shown categories that are disabled when uploading photos?

Have you followed the instructions in the documentations folder of the downloaded code. If the vbulletin xml plugins are installed there would be links in the sub nav menu of vbulletin when your gallery tab is highlighted.

If you make your menubar template this under admin edit templates does this help you?

Chuck
In my 1st post, i stated only the Admin link is missing, not any of the others, they all work as they should & yes the plugin was installed.

The change to the menubar tmpl does produce the Admin link with the default pp menu, but id rather keep using the vb nav system & submenu's, anything to fix the missing Admin Link when using the vb nav?

What about the Cat's, any idea on why they are still showing when uploading even with them disabled?

Id PM you a test account, but you dont allow PM's.

The old style vb navigation system though we never had a admin link there as I do know know a way to pass photopost variables to that navigation system. Now the new vb 4.2 we do.

My suggestion would be to upgrade.

The admin link never showed in the navbar of vb 4.1 as I stated.

In fact for the older vb your talking about we did not hide the menubar in photopost like we do now so if your looking for a fix you have already been provided it.

There are lots of bug fixes in vb between 4.1 series and 4.2 which is why I suggested to upgrade besides the fact upgrading to 4.2 would do what you want to do which is show all the links in the vb navigation system and not show a menubar for photopost.

I do not see other questions here. I see one line about asking about cats showing on the upload page and my only response there would be is if you set all groups a member belongs to under edit categories for a category not to be uploaded to then it would not appear on the upload page categories dropdown box.

You can send admin login and a url to the contact us link on our site that is where you would submit site info like that.
