Contest Ended - sort order not by vote count

Hi Chuck,

I've just ended a contest in one of my forums but I expected the display of that category to now be sorted by the highest vote count.

I've checked the db and the category has sortby set to 9.

Other values that seem to be important in the showgallery.php are:

ratingtype = 1
takevotes = 2
votes = 0

(just out of curiousity since there are votes, I reset the votes value to a positive number but that didn't seem to matter).

Any thoughts on why it's not displaying by vote count?

Any other values that I should check?

There is no sortorder field in the categories table in our program that is 9. I have checked our files and see where we set nothing to 9 so definately would have to see this site backend front end and database to come up with a theory.

I have not seen any info on this yet. It would not be part of add a specific sort called votes and this is how I would do it. There is no clear vote sort it is by rating but clearly it would be nice to have seen your issue to comment further.

I would if I wanted to add a specific vote sort do this around line 239 I would add this code in bold.

Content visible to verified customers only.

I would then down further around line 607 add this code in bold

You could then add a specific sort in your sort table with sort id of 9 like this

Okay well I tried this out myself on my test site and works fine so think I will add this to our next update.
