stopping users from uploading over-sized files I'm currently having a situation where either the server or the software allows an over-sized upload to process to a folder under my photopost folder called "uploads," with subfolders for each userid. Then the over-sized file is "stuck," and blocks all further uploads by that user. So I am clearing them manually in ftp when users let me know they messed up. I wonder if there is a way to alert the user they are making this mistake, and stopping the upload process before it becomes a block in the /upload/userid/ folder. thanks |
There is no way to prevent a file from bringing down PHP if your using GD2 no because this happens before you get the file to us. |
