Require viewers of photos to be registered

Hi,

I have selected 'yes' requiring users to be registered to view photos.

I have also unticked guests from all categories in edit categories/permissions.

Users cannot view the gallery. They now get a message saying they need to log in to view it.

When a photo is displayed in a forum post using img tags, those photos are still viewable to guests (phpbb3 board).

Is there a way to stop the pictures displaying for guests in the forum as well as in the photopost gallery?

There would be no way to control something from our program in a forum post as that is a different product and your not using a script from our program. You are using the forum bbcode which is a direct image tag to the actual image.

Yeah the way forum bbcode works is you can only place the full actual url to an image. There is no script use or permissions structure in any forum other than does a user have permission to view that actual forum thread.

Years ago forum bbcode allowed script links which of course would use whatever permissions structures of the application which showed the image but it became a security risk to allow script in such tags so now they only allow actual image links.
