Sort Photos Link Redirected to VB Index Page

I am running PP8.1 integrated with Vbulletin 4.2
When in the PP Control panel and I click on "manage albums" so I can set the sort numbers on mine or a member's album, when I click the "sort photos" link, I can see the link is abcdmysite.com/photopost/misc.php?action=orderphotos&cat=546 but I get redirected to the Vbulletin Index page within the control panel. Is this a setting that I can correct in the CP or is this some other issue? Thanx in advance for your help. Jerry

Maybe turn off vb mods/hacks and try. There is no issue using sortphotos on my gallery which is installed with vb4.2

Try making sure your misc.php file exists and is not correct so try replacing that file. Maybe if your using vbseo an issue with that application. Just all guesses here.

Chuck, maybe you could take a look for me? I give up. Pretty sure I checked most every PP and VB setting I could. The misc.php file is there and it has to be correct as I just overwrote it with the file from the upgrade I purchased. I'm still being redirected to the VB index page. I am not doing anything with SEO and not sure what you mean when you say to turn off VB mods/hacks? Is that a setting in the VB or PP control panel? If so, exactly where? You did the PP upgrade install/VB integration for me a couple of weeks ago. If OK I will email you my info. Thanx in advance, Jerry

Hello

I have looked at your site and this has to be something your server is doing. It does not come from our script. You can try making an album right here and sort your photos works fine.

Now whether you click the link or type the link in your browser it always goes to your forum url with forum.php on the url

I have tried with the forum enhanced header on or off and same thing I type this in your browser it goes to the forum

abcdmysite.com/photopost/misc.php?action=orderphotos&cat=546

I get

abcdmysite.com/forum.php?action=orderphotos&cat=546

This has to be some type of htaccess redirection something your doing on your server. Your redirecting things to the forum through htaccess?

Thanx Chuck, you’re right on the money with your advice. I had forgotten that I added a redirector so that all my members from my old Photopost site would be sent to the Vbulletin login page. That was affecting the sort link also (as the login page also had misc.php in the url). I removed that redirector and the sort function is back in business. Sorry to bother you, but thanx for your help. Jerry
